P.S: It pains me to realize I suck at writing rhymes. HAHAHA!

"WHY DESIGNERS NEVER MAKE IT AS MODELS?"I was in NUS, School of Design and Environment today for my interview and aptitude test. On my way in, I noticed McDonald's.
Now it has come to my conclusion, McDonald's are always in close proximity to any School of Design. I'ts like this hidden secret rules and agreement they have!
Back when I was in Singapore Polytechnic, McDonald's was way too near to us that we kept skipping tutorials and lectures to pile up the fats with freshly deep pop-into-your mouth fried french fries! Not to forget, the bursting chill Coke!
Darn kapoochee unhealthy. The result is ME! hahaha!
I have nothing against McDonalds! Don't get me wrong. Am not afraid to sing I'm Lovin It!
But please! For my health and fitness, I plead you Ronald McDonald, stay away from Design Schools! Why can't they have
sashimi!? Makis?!It's no wonder, the best designers are never as good looking as their models. All the stress they getting from McDonalds!! To eat or Not to Eat!
And if you chose not to eat, you'll end up looking deprivedly stick thin sick - body and face.
WHY?cause your body not getting any of the sinful stuff. And it gets too much into your head that you'll pull a long face. Your mood starts to swing. You'll end up like
Project Runway Santino.Well maybe my 'thesis' on McDonald's invasion in Design School is a rather a pityful lame pathetic cry!
But it's worth a thought? Don't you think?

Japanese Food! -
PERIOD! (always like to tell myself that.)
I want it so badly~!
Ok this cravings are definitely categorized as
"nuclearly" dangerous!
*bite my fingers*All thanks to my boss who treated us for lunch at
Raku, in conjunction to Secretary's Week. Ok I recommend
Raku. Dark, zen decor with nice english slow songs playing softly in the background. Food is a definite yum yum yum yum! (4 out of 5 that is!) Not so hyped up about the service though. And definitely not overly happy with the price if you're the budget eater (which I don't find it anything wrong being one at all!) Service can be better.

I could never fathom how one can be stinking with anger, melancholism and animosity each and every day. Why can't we be jovial goobers? Why can't we all try to get along?
No doubt we may have our downs. But we have to learn to pick up our ownselves. We can't be sulking on it too long. Instead problems should be bid 'goodbyes and so longs!'
"I'm tired of this!" is confirmed the lamest dreadful whiny complaint if its repeated ritually in one's SMS, diary, blog or from their own mouths.
Haven't you heard "Get over it, girlfriend?"
You're So CUCKOO~!ahhahahahah!-----
Ok here's some take on the Malaysia horror film's title "Jangan Pandang Belakang" which means "Don't Look Back"
We told Mom about the movie hitting Singapore's cinema really soon. Was surprised she was actually oblivious to the movie's buzz. And so she quickly randomly retorted.
"Why can't we look behind? Our own problem ah! Where we want to look, front, back, sideways - right or left, down or up, why can't we look behind? Then so stiff! What only."
Another occasion, was talking to my friend about the movie's unexpected hot buzz. Personally I find the whole title is damn cheesy and always made fun of it, including the trailer, its visual effects and the ghost itself. So I was definitely crossed to learn that it's doing so well.
So my friend simply innocently sang "
Don't Look Back....
in Anger." Thanks a lot for the Oasis version, pal. Greatly appreciated.

"Doolittle will make it through till the end of the season's competition. I like the other two big ladies too. The...ah..La..La...Latifah? La..""Lakeesha?" I interjected.(Not pretty sure how it's spelled. As long as the pronounciation hits the mark.)"
Yeah the big lady! Wait, both are big. Everything of them are big!!" he laughed out merrily."Doolittle is pretty. No, not in the celebrity image way, but her personality" he continued. "She's one happy person. She sings with emotion, narrating her songs effortlessly, and huge voice. She enjoyed what she did. And so should we."We nodded and smiled. Trying hard not to argue.
"Let me tell you. I watched only 3 shows if I switch on the TV. American Idol, Amazing Race and Survivor. I wouldn't want to watch movies playing on TV cause there's too much commercials" he confirmed."These shows get you into the mood. It engages the viewers. I like that!"And so we smiled and laughed as we listened attentively to the 72 year old man in front of us. Always amazed by his wise, informative and sometimes philosophical theory lectures he will spare us whilst working.
That's my boss.
Young at heart, and still kicking~!

I received an acknowledgement letter that I've been shortlisted in the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore, for the course of Architectural/Industrial Design today.
It stated that I had to come down for a scheduled interview and an aptitude test.
No doubt, being shortlisted for NUS is undeniably good news. And if things go well, an admission to NUS is like the icing on a cake! Ok perhaps I'm being too dramatic. Lol!
However, I'm having second thoughts. What about Landscape Architecture? I'm terribly confused and dazed in making a decision for now.
The trouble is my cumulative GPA allows me to go for either courses. Well, pardon me for bragging, it could get me to anywhere at least.
I could choose to leave home for Perth to study in University of Western Australia. Unfortunately, money is unquestionably an issue for me. Although tempting bank loans are always there. It pains to also know that scholarships are way too scarce to be given out so dearly by stingy Singaporeans.
If only there was a local university which offers Landscape Architecture in Singapore, my decision making will be simpler the least.
Being smart, can be pricy I suppose? Hahahaha.
Clearly proven. To an extend.
Nuff.

Working life is totally taking a toll on me. The energy - physically and mentally -draining out of me. Nowadays I usually knock off to bed by 11pm. Gone are the late night TVs, DVDs or chatting.
Perhaps it appears to be draining because of the paradigm shift from a slacker to an instant worker. Unfortunately I picked up the gear a tad too slow on my momentum towards this change. I believe I'll get better with it as days progress.
------
I had watched the upcoming movie Bridge to Terabithia. A refreshing heart-warming story of true friendship, family and lots of 'wild' imaginations. It can get tear jerking at the climax of the story. So get ready for tissues if friendship or even family love does give a significant value to you. The leads played their characters so well despite their age, their performance are believable and applaudable.
Do try to catch it when it hit the cinemas here. Or else, you know how to get it the WRONG way.
Till then.

The BIG 3-0!
Not my birthday definitely. Not the date too.
It's my 30th POST for this blog!
This is another random entry, cause the main story for today seemed to just slipped away, just as my fingers felt like dancing.
Darn kapoochee~!
I missed my camp mates. My Building and Environment School fellow camp mates. Met them yesterday. And I missed them more now. We weren't great best friends amongst us. But we do settle in well with each other. We automatically become mentally challenged people, no offence to those out there who aboriginally are. Take it as a compliment. In a weird way, utmost.
Lionel, Kimiko, Jacelyn, Farhan, LS, Singer! We gotta meet up again!
Till graduation ceremony then.
P.S: To John Seddon, bet you don't read blogs nor even met me before, hahaha, but sorry I couldn't be a better job candidate despite my merit achievements. LOL! I'm sincerely regretful of this evening's conversation. Much love!

Read my post title, and you figured it out. I'm working already, starting from today. Felt so surreal. Didn't expect I get a job this soon though.
Well I got a call from the boss, that he was interested to meet me. He asked me to come down to the office yesterday, but I was too lazy to come down and scheduled it this morning instead.
So today, early morning, smartly dressed in white shirt n pants. Looking semi-formal, I board a bus, alighted after 5 stops away and there I was. DAIRY FARM ROAD!
Now in case, you haven't heard of this road, its a long boring deserted road, with thick vegetation at both of its side. And in this thick vegetation, hidden is my firm's office. I'm working in the jungle people. Yay, I felt like Tarzan. Just missing my Jane. (Cause there's some wild macaques dancing around behind our office. You can see them out of your window. God knows, what else in that jungle. I'll tell you every single wild animal sightings from now on!)
Upon arrival, after briskly walking 15 mintues under the blazing morning sun, I was standing in front of this cottage look alike house with thick woody vines half successfully engulfing it. I felt like I was in some fairytale, where you finally stepped onto Old Witch's house.
Suprisingly, it was all modern within. Sigh of relief there.
Ok, here's the thing, for a job interview, first impression counts. So articulately, ettiquettely, image-wise, you have to impress. Look and sound, good, as well as smart. I got my 72 year old boss-to-be mocking me.
"Wahhh! Where so smart into the jungle! Casting to be in the next season of Lost isit?"
So not appreciative. But for a 72 year old man - LOST? That's impressive!
I got the job in the end. Apparently Image doesn't seem to matter here.
Moral of the story: No formal attire when you going for an interview in the jungle!
Oh yeah changed my blogskin. Hope it strikes well. Hahahaha. hmmm....
